Products & services

Your catalog is more than a list — it’s a control center

When prices live in someone’s head, stock lives in the warehouse and costs live in Excel, profit stays on paper. In ÖzgürKod, every product and service lives on a single card with its cost, sale price, VAT, stock and price lists — and quotes and orders are built from that card.

If price lists live in people’s heads, some of your profit quietly leaks out on every sale.

If your average sale is ₺4,000: the monthly cost of your subscription is not even a single sale.

Five types, one catalog: whatever fits your business

Not every business sells the same thing, so the catalog shouldn’t force you into one mold. ÖzgürKod has five product types: Stocked product (quantity-tracked), Service (hour/session-based), Digital product, Subscription and Bundle/Set. Bundle contents are defined: a “Bridal Package” = 3 skin care sessions + 1 makeup + 1 hair styling — when the bundle is sold, what will be delivered is written down. Every record carries an SKU code, category (with color labels), cost and sale price, VAT rate, currency and, if you want, an image; you add industry-specific fields with JSON custom properties.

You’re not stuck with one price: you can define unlimited price lists (Retail, Dealer, Corporate…) and set a list-specific price for each product. For the most critical question — “who changed what, and when?” — a change log runs in the background: every add/update/delete records the old and new values, the user and the IP address. When the price-increase debate starts, the answer is in the log.

Stock & delivery notes

Manage the warehouse with records, not stock counts

Stock should never just be “low” — you need to know why it’s low. That’s why stock only changes through a movement:

  • 5 movement types: Inbound, Outbound, Adjustment, Return, Shrinkage — each line records old/new stock, a note and a document number
  • Critical stock level: a threshold per product; products that fall below it stand out in the list with a warning
  • Inbound/outbound delivery notes: a unique number, line-by-line product-quantity-amount, totals calculated automatically
  • Approval flow: delivery note Draft → Approved; the approver and date are recorded, and cancellation is a separate status
  • Supplier records: company name, tax details, contact person and contact info; purchases are linked to the supplier

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Can I define session packages?

Yes. You create a product of the “Package/Set” type and add the sub-services to it with their quantities (e.g. 10 × laser sessions). The unit is set to “Session”, so the contents of the package are clear in a sale.

Can team members see my cost information?

The cost price is kept in a separate field, and panel access is role-based. Every price change is also in the audit trail, so unauthorized changes are visible immediately.

I buy in foreign currency and sell in TL. Is that possible?

Yes. Cost and sales prices are kept with a currency field, and in price lists the currency is chosen per list. When exchange rates change, prices are updated from a single screen and logged.

What if a stock count shows a difference?

You adjust to the actual quantity with a “Correction” movement; the difference is recorded with a note. Shrinkage and returns are also separated by their own movement types — your loss/shrinkage report is ready at year end.
